Loudenvielle will be the starting village for the 15th stage of the Tour de France 2024, heading for the Plateau de Beille: a 200 km mountain stage with 4,850 meters of vertical drop awaits the cyclists, starting directly at the bottom of the Col de Peyresourde. For the occasion, an entertainment village will be set up in Loudenvielle, featuring a giant screen with live broadcasts of the stage, refreshment stands and foodtrucks, and a road bike test and exhibition.
The day will close with a free outdoor screening of the Tous En Selle festival of cycling and travel films.
For 5 days, from July 15 to 19, 2024, the major passes of the Hautes-Pyrénées are closed to traffic and reserved for cyclists from 9am to 12pm. Access is free and open to all, without registration, fixed start times or timing. Over 5 days, you can choose to take part on one or more days.
The Pyrénées Cycl'n Trip opens this year in Loudenvielle with the closure of the Val Louron-Azet, Peyresourde and Port de Balès passes. In Loudenvielle, you'll find a welcome with breakfast and road bike tests.
